Like Lena Raine's "Acoustic Collection", this 24-minute suite is a set of neo-classical compositions, but this time conceived for a full-fledged symphony orchestra. The virtual instruments used to render this magnum opus sound remarkably realistic. This quite exciting work shows once again the advanced skills of Lena Raine as a classical composer. It reminds me somewhat of the wonderful symphonic music written by Ralph Vaughan Williams in the first half of the 20th century, as well as of Robert John Godfrey's early works for "Barclay James Harvest" and "The Enid".
